Measured, not guessed
CADVERT reads the B-REP solid itself — the same geometry your CAD system stores — rather than a triangle mesh approximation. A hole is round because the surface is a cylinder, and its diameter is that cylinder’s radius. Values come out exact:

It also reads the assembly tree, so it knows which faces belong to which part and can answer about one component inside a large assembly rather than the whole thing at once.
Ask it questions
Analysis needs no AI and no setup — open a file and the breakdown is there. On top of that you can ask questions in plain language, and CADVERT answers by querying the real geometry rather than guessing from a description of it. Three ways to power that:
Apple Intelligence included
Runs on your Mac. Costs nothing, needs no key, and nothing leaves the machine. Requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on.
Your OpenAI or Anthropic key
Bring a key from either provider and CADVERT talks to them directly, billed to you at their rates. Works on any supported Mac, including Intel. Your key is kept in the macOS Keychain.
Every Mac that can run CADVERT can use it. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable on your machine, the app says exactly why and you can add your own key instead — and file analysis works either way.
Works offline
The complete geometry kernel ships inside the app. There is no server to reach, no account to create, and no network request at all unless you have chosen a provider that needs one. Files you open stay on your Mac.
